NodePlan: plan the project and the process first, then add AI

NodePlan is our own product: a visual editor for plans and specs. You turn an idea into a graph, see what's missing, and get documents for your team plus files for the AI agent that will build it. It's in a closed, free beta at nodeplan.pro.

Why it matters for AI rollouts

Many AI problems start before the first line of code or the first automation scenario. Nobody wrote the process down, the requirements live in people's heads and the gaps only show up during the build. That's when an AI agent or an automation guesses where the plan is silent.

How it works

  1. Describe. Start with a few sentences about the idea or the process.

  2. Graph. Pages, modules, requirements, processes and AI agents as connected blocks. AI suggests a structure, and you accept or reject every suggestion. AI never changes anything silently.

  3. Analysis. NodePlan shows what's missing and scores the plan's readiness based on concrete gaps. A bare template scores 0%.

  4. Output. Documents for the team and files for the AI agent (such as CLAUDE.md, a task list and screen descriptions), plus an MCP connection through which the agent reads the plan, marks progress and asks questions instead of guessing. Works with Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Export to Markdown, ZIP and JSON.

Plans without code: processes and strategies

Not every project ends in code. In NodePlan you can also map a business process (steps, roles, step owners, decisions, a metric) or a marketing strategy (a numeric goal, segments, channels, KPIs, budget, customer journey) and check what's missing. At the end you get a document to copy into Google Docs or print to PDF. This is an early version, and we're developing it with our first users.

The beta, honestly

Most mature: websites, web apps and AI agents. Early version: mobile apps, multi-agent systems, automations, APIs and no-code plans. AI features run on free models, so a response sometimes takes longer or fails. The editor works best on a computer.

Status: closed beta, free. We let people in in batches and reply to requests within 2 business days.

Why we show it

NodePlan is our way of thinking, packed into a tool. We apply the same order with clients: plan and gaps first, then the rollout.
